Milton Keynes Futures 2050 Commission Launched

The group has been working on a plan to make 'the great city of Milton Keynes greater' by 2050 for the extra 200,000 people they hope will live here and in the surrounding areas.

Britain's first robot manager working in Milton Keynes

Transport Catapult in Milton Keynes has introduced Betty the robot into their offices to keep an eye on staff and make sure they don't work too late. She is the first robotic office manager in Britain, and it will be assess on how well she can integrate with staff.

Santander Cycles MK has arrived

You can now register to hire a Santander Cycles MK bike, ahead of the scheme's launch later this month. The bike rental project - which has been dubbed as Milton Keynes' answer to Boris Bikes - will see 300 bicycles and an initial 40 docking stations across Milton Keynes.
